Since the promulgation of the Law on the Law of Products and Accreditation Services of the Russian Federation in 1995, Russia has begun to implement a compulsory certification system for products. From the initial dozens of products that need to provide safety certification to the present thousands of products, product certification is implemented on the market. The access system requires that the listed products on the domestic market must have a compulsory certification mark.

   GOST certification is a compulsory security certification for market access and is regarded as a passport for manufacturers to open and enter the market of the CIS countries such as Russia.

   GOST, Russian ГОСТ Государственный общесоюзный стандарт (the national standard of the whole Soviet Union), the foreign manufacturers export products to the CIS countries represented by Russia, should meet the Russian national quality standards, that is, through GOST certification. According to the product entry country, there are GOST-R certification (Russia, Russia), GOST-B certification (Belarus, Belarus), GOST-K certification (Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan) and so on. It should be noted that in 2007, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan established the Customs Union. In order to make the trade between the Union countries easier, and in order to avoid the technical and technical barriers to import and export products within this customs union, the Customs Union legislation issues the mandatory Customs Union TR technical regulations certificate, Customs Union Technical Regulations certificate: The product complies with the only proof of the customs union's technical regulations, which apply to: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan. Products bearing the "CU-TR" certificate can be sold in the member states of the Customs Union without having to meet the requirements of each member state, thus realizing the free circulation of goods within the customs union member countries.

   Recently, COHUI obtained the GOST certificate issued by the EAC Customs Union, marking the smooth entry of products into the Russian Federation.
